Drip Trays and How To Change Them
The Water Delivery Company is often asked the same inquiries and in answer to that we’ll use these articles to give some plain outlines to the more commonly asked questions. A fundamental problem facing a person who has just taken receipt of their first water coolers is ‘The Drip Tray is Full - How Do I Drain It?’. Eventually the drip tray of the water coolers will flow over and unless its emptied you’ll get water damage - damaging a wooden or laminate floor or conceivably damaging a carpet - so keeping on top of the water drip tray is essential. Again if the tray isnt emptied regularly one possible result is the accumulation up of algae and bacteria - the drip tray is unhygienic and it looks nasty. To begin - take off any tray which may sit on top of your drip tray. Many water coolers have this offering a support tray for any cups being used.. These will always simply clip out so a little firm pressure will remove the grill. Having removed the grill you’ll have a firmer hold on the drip tray itself. Again using firm pressure pull the drip reservoir towards you it unclips easily. Empty out any water into a sink or bucket. Give the inside of the drip reservoir a wipe with a soft cloth and you may like to use a little gentle cleansing fluid or detergent at this stage just to disinfect the drip reservoir and optimise its hygiene level. Once the dripreservoir is empty you can simply clip it back into its home using firm pressure. You’ll sense the click as it clips back into home. To coplete the process replace the grill if the reservoir has one and you’re all done!
