Which courts have the best surfaces in your local community?
Finding a local tennis court has now been made easier by using Tennis Leagues Network Tennis Court Utility.
Some of the 34 city maps we have available to the communities: Portland Tennis Courts, Chicago Tennis Courts & San Francisco Tennis Courts.
The list of tennis courts keeps the members informed on # of tennis courts, # of lighted tennis courts, if the courts are indoor tennis courts or clay courts, if theres a hitting wall for the players to practice on, cost to use the courts, address with appropriate Google map, # of tennis matches participants has played at the location in our program, if the courts are restricted to members only, playing region where these courts are located and admin notices if we know something particular about the location. The Google map link makes it very easy to enter a starting address and get the best directions to the courts.
In 2009, we improved the Rate this court! to allow players to enter court ratings. This has worked well as it quickly give new players the data needed to know which locations have the best courts. The members are able to evaulate the court lights, tennis courts playing surface, when the courts are empty, tennis club management of the facility and an overall rating. Players are also able to report some notes.
These tennis courts maps have really helped the location to find safe local courts next to where they live.
